TOP 11 OF 2011

Hello girls!!!
You have probably noticed I haven’t posted for a while, but I am back! If you follow me on twitter you should already know that I have moved in a new home and I had no internet access. Now I will blog more, even if there are still a few technical problems…
During 2011 I have tried so many products but only a few are in my heart. Wanna know which ones received all of my love during this year- which is almost over by the way?
THE POWDERS
I am going to finish this one before buying another pressed powder
I am in love with both the Dior Pressed Powder and the Nude Powder by Neve Make Up. They work both amazingly in my skin and keep my make up in perfect all day long.
THE CONCEALER
I have already told you that the best concealer I have ever tried is the Healthy Mix Correcting Concealer by Bourjois. I have bought it 3 times during 2011 and I am ready to buy it for the forth time!
THE BLUSH
KIKO Adjustable Colour Blush in 02 Fancy Coral is the perfect pink/coral blush for me. It’s a little bit shimmery and that make it ideal even for highlighting. It lasts long for so long and that’s why I prefer it from other blushes. You know, I am not the girl that retouches her make up during the day.
THE MULTIPURPOSE PRODUCT
The NYX Mosaic Powder is the multi-purpose product that I used nearly every single day during 2011. I use it as blush, eye shadow, highlighter and, of course, for contouring. I have already reviewed it here.
EYES
I use Primavera by Neve Makeup nearly everyday. Such a sweet shade that I love to use it especially for my everyday natural looks.
A palette that I use for every look is the Fraulein 3°8 72 Nude Colors palette.
And, of course, I can not forget to mention my favorite eyeshadow base. There is no chance to apply an eyeshadow without using my Too Faced Shadow Insurance.
THE LIPSTICKS
2011 was the year I started to use many different lip shades. I dared to try intense shades,my very first red lipstick and brownish/purple hues. But I have to admit that I am mad about the all day classic and natural Miracle Shine No3 by Layla Cosmetics. When I want a touch of color, I know I can’t go wrong with The Body Shop Coloourglide Lip Colour in Pink Ginger (no14). And if you are wondering about the gloss that captured my attention, it is the MAC Geo Pink Cremesheen Glass from the Semi-Precious collection.
It was hard to find only 11 products. I wanted to add 3 more but never mind! I’m gonna stop here!!!
So which products did you use the most during 2011? I can’t wait to read your comments or even your blog posts!!!
Have an amazing Friday beauties!
Kisses!

Nails Time: Layla Milano Ceramic Effect Nail Polish

Hello beauties!!!

I just realised that I haven’t talked you about Layla’s nail polishes! I had the chance to try some of these and I can say that they are amazing! I have tried some nail polishes of the Ceramic Effect line.
This one is Ceramic Effect No20. Isn’t it lovely? The color is neutral, something like brown/sand. It contains microglitters that are really tiny and discrete that you can not really see them. That’s the reason why this nail polish is so bright.
This one is Ceramic Effect No25. I don’t know how to define this color. It is a blue, not too dark nor too light. It is not a navy blue…Doesn’t it look like a blue-jean? How can I define it? Welljust watch the swatch!haha!

I really like these nail polishes. They dry fast: in about 5 minutes you are ready to do anything and touch anything without the risk to have your nail polish destroyed(scratches etc)! The brush is a classic one but big enough to do a good job. The finish is really cool: bright and shinny even without a top coat! They last for so long... Just think that nail polishes on my nails don’t last more than 3 days(without doing things like wash the dishes, clean the house etc). These nail polishes last for about 5 days and I have done so hard work on the garden and in the house with all those strong detersives. And think that after 5 days ony two nails were a little bit ruinned… Thats pretty good, no?

Another reason to love them is the ingredients list! They are 3 Free, wich means FREE OF Toluene, Formaldehyde, DBP(Dibutyl Phthalate). Perfect for pregnants and all those you care about ingredients!

You can find them at http://shop.laylacosmetics.it/. Otrewise, contact Layla Cosmetics to find the retailer in your country.

So, what do you think? Have you tried them? Will you try them?

Kisses beauties!

Review Layla Cosmetics Milano: Hydro Tense Soft & Fluid Foundation

Today I am going to review a product that I have tried a long time ago. It’s the Hydro Tense Soft & Fluid Foundation by Layla Cosmetics, an italian brand that I love.

The foundation comes in a bottle made of glass. The packaging reminds me Dior’sNude foundation. I like that. It is simple but still elegant and has a professional style. It contains 30mL of product and expires 12 months after you open it for the very first time. As for the price, it costs €16.

But let’s talk about the most interesting part: the product itself. I’ve received the shade No3 which wasn’t the right shade for me at all (I think I need No2 or maybe a combination of 2 and 3). This one was a little bit dark for me. Ihave tried it a few times, without getting out of the house, just because I wanted to try it (it would be nice for summer days that I was tanned…ahahaaha).

The finish is good, not heavy at all and gives a really natural look. I felt like I had no make up. The coverage is light, suitable for those who don’t have imperfections. So, not for me at all! As for the texture, it is liquid but really light and soft. I was more liquid that I expected. You’d better apply it with a sponge rather that a brush. I wish it was more creamy.
It has a nice and discrete scent, too.

It really hydrates the skin. If you have oily skin, you’d better not use this foundation because it is oily and it might give you an oily effect.

I don’t really go mad for this foundation. I wanted it a higher coverage and a product more suitable to my oily skin.

Have you ever tried thie Hydro Tense & Fluid Foundation? How did you find it? Which foundation dissapointed you?

Kisses!!!
Korina
