Garnier Pure Active Blackhead Clearing Scrub

When you get compliments about your skin, you know your skincare products do a great job. If you are a beauty blogger, you also know it’s time to do some skincare products reviews!

I was sent Garnier Pure Active Blackhead Clearing Scrub about a year ago, but I am using it for the last four months. You see, during pregnancy I wasn’t allowed to use certain products ’cause of the ingredients (take a look here). I am using it twice a day. Wanna know what I think?

First things first: the packaging! As you can notice, the product comes in a tube of 150ml. You only need a small amount of product in every use. That means one tube should last you for a few months. I use mine since 4 months and it is almost finished.

This creamy scrub claims to help target blackheads, imperfections, marks and oiliness for a clearer lookin skin. It is enriched with Salicylic Acid, known for its antibacterial properties, and Natural HerbalRepair, which is an extract from blueberry and and helps repair and regenerate the skin to prevent scarring.

The scrub particles are gentle and don’t irritate my skin. It smells like mint and aldo leaves a minty cool sensation on my skin. That’s something that I love, especially during the hot summer months.

I don’t like that it hasn’t uproot blackheads as per the claims. Maybe it did a small improvement in the appeareance on new ones, but nothing more. On the other hand, it cleanses very well and it is great at drying and clearing pimples. After using it, it leaves my skin fresh and smooth without drying it out.

In general, it’s a good cleanser and I would totally buy it once I finish all those face cleansers I have in stock…

Have you ever tried it? Do you like Garnier’s face products?

The Body Shop Vitamin E Face Mist

    Hello beauties!

Today I’d like to review a product that I wasn’t expecting to use it-or better overuse it-, adore it and make it part of my everyday beauty routine. I am talking about Vitamin E Face Mist by The Body Shop.

The Body Shop Greece sent me this product and when I’ve seen it I was sure that I would never use it. I love my Avène Spring Water and I rarely use used other face mists. Then I’ve read a million good reviews and decided to give it a try.

Here’s what the website says about the product:
A quick skin pick-me up and excellent for setting make-up. Spritz it on for instant refreshment, moisture, and protection. With a delicate rosewater scent.

The Vitamin E Face Mist comes in a light pink opaque plastic bottle with a pump spray on the top. The spray part is covered by a transparent plastic cap that makes it safe for carrying it on your bag or luggage without having any problem. Once  you spray it on your face, it leaves the right amount of product. Who would like to get a shower while being outside?

The product is watery and suitable for every skin type. It gives a dewy, hydrated and fresh look to my face.

It has a discrete rosewater fragrance. It is a very refreshing scent but it fades within 2-3 minutes. It is great even for setting your make-up; just spray over your make up to seal it after applying. I also moisten my brushes with it when I want a wet application for eyeshadows. During summer I keep it in my refrigerator for extra coolness when the weather is really hot. It gives such a pleasant feeling during hot days…

I haven’t checked the ingredients list and I can’t tell you anything about this…sorry…You can find them in the website if you want.

The bottle contains 100ml of product and costs €8.50. You might think it’s expensive, but it lasts long and worth its money!

I am convinced and happy of this product! I recommend it to everyone because it really works for all skin types!

Do you use face mists? Have you tried this one?

Monthly Love (April): Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Moisturizer

I know I am late for April’s favorite product, but I had no time to write about it. I have to admit that since my due date I used nearly used no make up products (except one day) but I haven’t regret my daily face care routine.

Hmmm…I know! The sticker is a little bit destroyed.Sorry!

It’s been about two years I am in love with Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Moisturizer. That’s the only moisturizer I have tried since now that provokes me no breakouts at all and doesn’t make my skin greasy.

This moisturizer was the product I used the most during April. In fact, during every month, but I wanted to share it with you!

If you are interested, you can read my (short) review here.

Have you ever tried Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Moisturizer? Do you love Kiehl’s as much as I do?
    Which moisturizer do you use?
