The Body Shop Nature’s Minerals Foundation & Blusher Kabuki

It’s been about two years I am using mineral cosmetics. The first ones I have ever bought were a blush and a foundation by The Body Shop.  Till that moment I didn’t have a kabuki brush and that’s why I decided to buy Nature’s Minerals Foundation and Blusher kabuki brushes.
These two brushes have many thing in common and that’s why I decided to write both reviews in one article.

The Kabuki Foundation Brush is the classic kabuki brush. It is made of synthetic hair and has a rounded shape. It is very dense and and soft and it can be used for applying different powders, for example mineral cosmetics, powders e.t.c. It provides good coverage and fits the contours of my face. The handle is short and fits easily into the palm, but I would prefer if it was a little bit bigger. I am using it for about two years and I haven’t noticed any shedding or bleeding. It costs about €18 and you can find it at TBS stores or website.

The Kabuki Blusher Brush is made just like the previous one; synthetic bristles with a rounded shape that allow circular movements across the cheeks. Its high density ensures that just the right amount of powders is held between the bristles. The Blusher Brush is smaller that the Foundation Brush. I haven’t noticed any bleeding or shedding till now. It costs about €16.

Each of these brushes come in a cute black pouch which I’ve lost when I moved to my new home… (ooops!)

You might think that they are a little bit pricey and that’s true. I got them with a 40% off, but after two years of using them, I have to admit that they are amazing brushes and the price is more than ok!

Have you ever used these brushes? In general, what do you think about TBS brushes?

Let me know girls!

My Sigma Stories: F50 Duo Fibre Brush

Goodmorning everybody!!!

Today I will finally write the review for the Sigma Duo Fibre F50 Brush. The story of this brush is a little weird… When I started to ise it I just hated it. I left it for a while in a corner and suddenly I started to use it again. Everybody deserves a second change! And…booom…I changed my mind!

This brush is specially designed to create an ‘airbrush’ finish when used to apply liquid foundation. But that’s not the only use! You can apply blushes, especially those in cream, highlight shades and loose pigments. The bristles are a mix of synthetic(white) and natural(black).
I already have tried this brush but in travel size(and with pink handle) as I have in in my Travel Brush Set Nice in Pink. I can say that this little one disappointed me: it really has lost many many bristles. And I hate having the brushes’ bristles on my face while I do my make up. So I left it in a corner without using it…
For some reason I ordered the F50 just because I wanted to believe that was my brush which lost all those hair. I love Sigma and I wanted to try out the same brush but in normal size. I was a little afraid that I was going to waste my money, but I risked it(I have read so many good reviews)! Wanna know what happened? I washed it and it lost hair…I used it and it lost hair… I washed it once again and it lost hair… Oh gosh…! It mostly lost the blach bristles… I used it once again (with my nerves ready to go go crazy) and and it didn’t lost hair!!! What? Really??? {Korina is happy}
The F50 is very soft and quit dense. It is also easy to use. The result is really ”soft” and natural. It doesn’t like stroke lines on my face. Another thing that I like is that you need less product if you use this brush.
I also used it with cream blush(Eyeko Fat Balm in Frosting) and the result was amazing! Bright and well blended.
It costs $16 and you can buy it at Sigma’s official site
I absolutely recommend this brush to all of you! Just keep in mind that if it looses bristles before contact Sigma(they replace the defected brushes) or throw it away, wash it at least 2 times(some bloggers said they washed it 4-5 times) and it will stop loosing hair. At least, that’s what my brush did.
Have you ever tried it or is it in your wishlist? Let me know sweeties!

My Sigma Stories: F30 Large Powder Brush

I adore Sigma Brushes! You know it, don’t you? So, today I want to review another fabulous brush that I use, the F30 Large Powder Brush.

This brush is dense with a rounded top. The bristles are natural and so soft!!! It is Ideal to apply powders in your face and/or your body.

The handle is in the right size and really comfortable. F30 makes the make up application fast and easy due to its density and size.

I’ve been using it for a long time and I have washed it several times, too. It lost a few bristles when I first washed it but never again. Thats normal, isn’t it?
It costs $16. You can buy it individually or in a complete set. Its up to you!

I definitely recommend it! An amazing brush must not miss from any make up case!

Have you ever tried it? What do you think?

Kisses girls,
